SalaryA locum consultant emergency medicine physician is sought for a rural medical campus in the Australian Outback of the state of Western Australia. This position is open to applicants who hold FACEM or equivalent qualification.
Role Duties:
In this position you will be expected to:
- assume leadership of the medical team in the emergency department
- assess and treat patients arriving in the emergency department
- manage acute trauma and emergency cases
- supervise house officers and registrars
- work a shift system
To be successful in your application for this locum Emergency Physician role, we will be looking to identify the following in your curriculum vitae and recent history:
- a medical degree
- FACEM or equivalent qualification
- AHPRA registration (specialist)
- the right to work in Australia
- ALS2
- a daily rate of AUD $ 2900 - 3045
- 15% Loading from 22/12/2023 until 05/01/2024
- Flights – Up to $1500 return economy flights – approval in advance
- Car – Fuel on receipt ONLY
- Taxi Vouchers provided to and from hospital and Airport
- Hotel accommodation is provided by site if on-site accommodation is not available.
- Hire car is provided by site if fleet vehicle is not available.
