Project Coordinator (Supply Chain)

Reporting to the Purchasing & Supply Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Supply Chain projects. This role will be diverse in covering various projects indicative of a fast-growing business undergoing integration and expansion.
You will assist and oversee the planning, budgeting and documentation of all aspects of projects assigned. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Supply Chain team, developing your project skills with a collaborative and supportive team.
Key outcomes of the role include:
- Be a proactive team member within the Supply Chain project team, align with department responsible to plan/execute projects related for Supply Chain objectives in defined project procurement timeframes, covering NPD, EPD or Design Changes, etc
- Clear and Transparent communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to alliance with project needs and request.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and activities as required.
- Ensure that all projects related to Supply Chain objectives or targets are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Developing detailed project plan to track progress and report to stakeholders including milestones and identified risks and mitigation strategies.
- Report and escalate any identified risks to management as needed timely and transparently.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain related projects documentation and reporting templates
- Support and drive key projects with Supply Chain to support business goals.
- Act as a point of contact for all project works to support the Procurement Project Manager
- Ensure standards and requirement are met through conducting quality assurance tests
As the successful candidate, you will have;
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- 3+yrs FMCG, food or pharmaceuticals industries experience in project procurement activities or similar preferably in the VMS category
- 3+yrs working in cross functional teams externally and internally
- Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills with high attention to detail with strong time management abilities
- Proven ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and take initiative
- High level of attention to detail
- Prioritisation of workload to achieve business outcomes
- Accountability to focus on results within projects across teams and functions
