- Rural Generalist – adults and paediatrics
- Upto $83.06 per hour + super
Experienced Speech Pathologist required for a locum to start ASAP for 3-6 months (you choose the duration). The role is located in regional Queensland, just under 4 hours from Brisbane. The details of the role are below:
- Rural Generalist role covering paediatrics - general speech and language development (No NDIS caseload) and adults, outpatients and inpatients – mostly sub-acute caseload
- Sole Speech Pathology role – you must be confident working autonomously
- Approximately 40:60 adult: paediatrics split
- Small rural hospitals 10-22 beds, some are multipurpose health facilities (MPHS) which mean they have nursing home type residents
- The service provides outreach to 6 rural hospital/MPHSs, all travel in a fleet vehicle (usually car pool with MDT members)
- Outreach to a local Aboriginal community
The is a HP4 level role, although experienced HP3 clinicians are welcome to apply as there is support from the sister sites.
Locum rates up to $83.06 + super. Accommodation available and travel reimbursement. A car will be provided for work purposes. However, it is advisable to have your own vehicle for weekends etc….
