Are you a passionate and experienced Physiotherapist looking to make a meaningful impact in a rural community setting? Join the vibrant and growing allied health team in a regional Hospital based in the Hunter Valley on a full-time locum basis for 2 months with potential to extend.
Commencement date: Immediate - with flexibility*
Position: Physiotherapist for a mixed generalist caseload - inpatients and outpatients.
(Minimum 3 years' experience is desirable)
About the Role:
As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care within a community and clinical environment.
Your will assess, plan, recommend, and implement a wide range of services for patients who are but not limited to: recovering from trauma, surgery, acute illness, and neurological deficits. By employing evidence-based practices, you will collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and ensure that outcomes are met.
This position is supporting a mixed demographic working within a rural setting on a full-time basis. You will be the sole practitioner on site and need to be comfortable with working autonomously within the community.
We Are Looking For:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and AHPRA Registration - full registration only.
- 3 Years experience - Desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills encompassing excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in handling diverse responsibilities.
- A background in participating in Quality Improvement and research activities.
- Demonstrated experience working with patients in a hospital or community environment.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain positive professional relationships.
- COVID-19 Vaccinations, WWCC, NPC
- Full Australian Working Rights - Open to WHV's
