Locum Physiotherapist

We are currently recruiting for a Locum Physiotherapist to work in Dubbo– Western NSW in a residential aged care facility. The role is initially for a two month period, starting at the beginning of April. The role is full time hours but part time hours may also be considered. Relocation assistance and accommodation can be provided if needed. Here are more details about the role:

• Full Time or Part Time hours available
• Excellent rates of pay ($50-60+ per hour, plus super)
• Relocation assistance including accommodation can be provided
• Role available to start from the beginning of April 
• Role based in Dubbo in a Residential Aged Care Facility

About the organisation:
  
This role would be to work for a leading provider of allied health services and work closely with one of their clients – a residential aged care facility in Dubbo.
  
Duties:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments under ANACC
• Overseeing and running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes alongside physiotherapy aides.
• Delivery of Chronic Pain Management Program
• Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs
• Communicating with a greater team of health practitioners
• Delivery of manual handling training competencies

Requirements:

• It is a requirement to be a fully AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist
• We are looking for someone with previous aged care experience
