About the organisation
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Podiatrist to work one day per week from 23/05 - 09/07, to cover some annual leave. You will be working with a large community health service provider in the South Eastern suburbs, providing care to HCP and CHSP funded clients as part of an Allied Health clinic and Podiatry services. You will be working alongside a supportive and dedicated team of multi-disciplinary Allied health staff to provide a high level of care to your clients.
About your role
The Podiatrist is responsible for the provision of clinic based podiatry services, that are respectful and reflective of the goals and priorities of your clients.
Podiatry programs aim to allow clients to remain independent and safe in their homes and their communities through a range of service options that are delivered when your clients need them.
The Podiatrist will provide a comprehensive assessment to determine the strengths, abilities and care needs of clients and ensure all clients have an up to date assessment and service plan to support their provision of care. A key role of the Podiatrist is to also supervise and mentor the Allied Health Assistant(s) within the team and supervise the delivery of the foot care program.
About you
You are a Podiatrist with at least six months experience, working in multi-disciplinary Allied Health teams, ideally with clients over the age of 65. You have well developed time management skills and are able to prioritise effectively. You are friendly, professional and and enjoy working collaboratively with a team to achieve best outcomes for your clients.
To apply for this position, you will need:
Qualifications in Podiatry and registration with the Podiatry board of Victoria
Able to work one day per week ( Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday) from 23/05 - 09/07
At least six month experience, and demonstrated experience providing clinic based podiatry care, ideally with CHSP or HCP clients.
Current Police check
Triple COVID vaccination completed
