A little about the role:
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses (Grade 5) for locum roles in a Regional Queensland (Mackay) Emergency Department.
Mandatory Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Knowledge and proficiency in using the integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) system.
- Previous experience working within Australia, particularly with Queensland Health
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Resuscitation certification
- Triage certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency
- Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
- Manual and patient handling
- Infection control
- Aggressive behaviour management
- Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses and/or Midwives for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
- Medications management including compliance with QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
Candidates must agree to undertake the following as required:
- Integrated electronic medical record (ieMR) training
- Online induction training
- Any other training as requested
- $68 - $78 per hour, plus super, plus penalty rates
