Our Production Department in Kingston, Tasmania, seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team. As Logistics Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production and shipping processes. This is a permanent position, and the ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enjoy working in a small team, be enthusiastic, flexible, self-motivated and show attention to detail. 


Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory management: Stock counting, monitoring and replenishment.
  • Opening of jobs: Receiving purchase orders, liaising with the production team to decide on deadlines, opening of jobs and customer order confirmations.
  • Shipping: Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate shipping documentation, efficient dispatch of finished products (both in Australia as well as Internationally), and timely resolution of any shipping-related aspects.
  • Third-party orders and tracking: Create purchase orders for required third-party materials or components, tracking order status and delivery receipts.
  • Quality control checks: Conducting visual inspections of hardware components and finished products for defects, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Material receiving and inspection: Verifying deliveries against purchase orders, checking condition and quality of received materials and adding to inventory.
  • Collaborating: Being a helping hand to the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
Skills and experience
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or principles.
  • Ability to multitask

  • Quick learner with a can-do attitude
  • Fluent in English
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, prioritising quality and reliability
  • Embody exceptional time management, a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and autonomy
