Role: Logistics and Facilities Officer

Ricardo is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our Brisbane team as a Logistics and Facilities Officer, your responsibilities will encompass organising and coordination of logistics ensuring the welfare of Rail Operations Temporary Command and Control Centre (TCCC) and field teams’ welfare on-site.
This will include but not be limited to ensuring clean and well-resourced facilities at the TCCC in conjunction with the client, and at the Station Sites by facilitating communication with the construction crew at stations. This position will involve working closely with the Interface team and the TCCC Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and efficient distribution of resources to meet project timelines.
- Vehicle availability (once in place by the client).
- Liaison with the client for TCCC staff requirements.
- Liaison with precinct manager logistics teams.
- Assist with procurement of TCCC and other site equipment
- Oversee and manage crib breaks for on-site staff, ensuring a well-organised and timely provision of appropriate breaks.
- Day-to-day facilities management.
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning operations at stations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels between the logistics team and the construction crew at stations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to address logistical challenges and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide regular updates on logistical activities and address concerns raised by staff.
- Maintaining good business relationships between stakeholders and the client.
- Bachelor's degree or a diploma or certificate in in a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar Logistics and Facilities Officer position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and foster collaborative relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure excellent relationships with all stakeholders.
- Good organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
