Logistics and Supply Chain Planner& Scheduler

At Skretting, we're passionate about what we do and we are always looking for ways to add value for our customers.  Skretting's Australian Operations are looking to secure an enthusiastic and proficient team member in its Logistics area. 

The Logistics and Supply Chain Officer plans and schedules inbound and outbound deliveries from and to its manufacturing facilities to support the production schedule requirements. This position also supports the site with general administrative tasks including data entry, purchase orders and management of site services. 

Tasks involved with this position are including but not limited to:

Organisational systems - M3 input, maintenance and monitoring and reporting.

  • Maintain current status and date requirements for all Delivery orders
  • Daily completion of DO monitoring report (generation/monitoring/distribution)
  • Input and maintain designated monthly KPI’s
  • Perform regular stock reconciliations for all locations against M3 stock levels

Operations and Scheduling

  • Create and maintain internal safety stock requirements as agreed
  • Chep pallet account management, delivery and returns
  • Monitor internal and external storage of RM’s to ensure alignment to ERP systems
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with transport providers and internal warehousing staff
  • Build and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Receipt in invoices and manage purchase orders, maintain supply levels and order as required

About you

  • Proficient with computers including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to make daily workload plans and organize priorities as required.
  • Ability to react quickly and calmly.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Maintain data and information accurately and methodically.
  • 2-3 years’ experience within a manufacturing or fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment would be an advantage
  • Experience with financial transactions including purchase orders and delivery orders and invoice management would be an advantage.
