Oriental Merchant is an established importer/distributor of Asian food products on an global scale. We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our Welshpool warehouse!
Shift times
Monday to Thursdays - 7:45am - 4:00pm
Friday - 7:45am - 12:30pm
Working with a team you will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Processing allocating and invoicing orders
2. Answering phone call queries
3. Liaising with relevant personnel concerning the delivery of orders
4. Liaising with sales representatives concerning deals and offers
5. Assisting with the booking of transport companies
6. Running OOS reports
7. Filing and general office duties
8. Other duties as required from time to time by the Manager
Requirements:
• Full Australian working rights and MUST live in Australia
• Microsoft Office experience (high level of exposure to and competency with Excel is a must)
• A current driver’s license
• Strong communication skills
• A great eye for detail and customer service skills
• Proven experience working in an Administrative Assistant role or supply chain management industry is ideal, but not essential
