With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, we are currently seeking applications for a Logistics Leading Hand (Wed-Sat) role based at our Tatura location which currently employs up to 300 employees.

About the Opportunity:

Our Flavorite Tatura site is continuing to grow and are looking for candidates who are passionate about logistics to join the Flavorite team in the position ofLogistics Leading Hand (Wed-Sat).

Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of goods and materials to ensure the quality and timeliness of customer orders meet expectations. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Undertake production and logistics required to ensure all loads leave on time.
• Organize and work with the logistics supervisors to ensure the completion of all orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare paperwork required for loads ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
• Operate forklift to load and unload materials as required.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Assist the Logistics Supervisor with the orientation, training and development of new team members.
• Audit fruit quality and report all fruit issues to the Logistics Supervisor
• Champion OH&S and safe work practices

About you:

• You have the ability to communicate across different cultures.
• Possess sound planning and organizational skills.
• Can follow written and verbal procedures and instructions.
• Have strong attention to detail and are safety orientated.

About the department:

• This is a full-time role with an early morning start. 
• You will be working from Wednesday - Saturday 
• Our packing facility has over 30 staff during our peak season!
• In April 2024 we will moving to a brand-new packing facility!
• In our peak season, we pack 200 tons a week of large truss tomatoes, plus our other produce!
• We work with the latest technological advances and have a strong thirst for innovation.
