About the role:The
Procurement and Contracts Officer is supporting the Procurement Branch by providing corporate,
Procurement and property services.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:- Collaborate with business areas as a procurement partner to establish suitable methodologies, draft procurement documents, assess tenders, and negotiate contracts.
- Oversee procurement reporting, verification, and financial transaction processing.
- Develop and enforce Procurement and contract management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Contribute to procurement planning efforts within the wider team and across the organization.
- Provide specialized procurement advice, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and procurement policies for delivering value for money outcomes.
- Offer timely advice to internal and external stakeholders, including leadership teams.
- Monitor and advance work area activities to achieve objectives and maintain team cohesion.
About you:- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated government procurement experience.
- Exposure to compliance reporting.
- Leadership skills
