Our Opportunity
In this exciting role as our Logistics Manager, you will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge logistics and distribution strategies for both inbound and outbound operations across the Americas and CIS regions. You'll take charge of managing budgets and expenses, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness in warehousing, freight, and overall logistics operations. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining control over CR's inventory, investigating discrepancies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can lead and develop a talented logistics team while making a significant impact on CR's supply chain success and contribute to delivering an exceptional service experience to our customers.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop and execute a logistics and distribution strategy to minimize total landed costs.
- Oversee logistics activities, including import/export processes and 3PL management, to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
- Manage CR's physical inventory, ensuring accuracy through timely reporting and periodic cycle counts. Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Administer the ERP system, ensuring its proper maintenance and accuracy of information.
- Implement projects for Logistics efficiently, alerting stakeholders of any deviations. Investigate and implement EDI solutions with freight forwarders and 3PLs for streamlined communication.
- Support the development of new regions, provide management reports, develop relevant dashboards, and ensure regulatory compliance in logistics operations.
Qualifications and attributes:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management (desirable).
- 5+ years of experience in managing or re-engineering logistics/transportation in industrial manufacturing or distribution.
- 2+ years of international logistics process management with 3PL suppliers.
- Strong IT systems knowledge, especially in ERP and WMS (experience with Dynamics D365 ERP is advantageous).
- Team leadership experience.
- Excellent language skills, with bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, French, or Slavic being advantageous
