We are now actively seeking to appoint a dynamic experienced Estimating and Procurement Manager to join our team.
About your new exciting role with us:
- Supervise, lead and mentor team members
- Organise workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Oversight of the estimating process
- Oversee SOP's and methods for estimating deliverables
- Produce cost estimates for projects/orders
- Approve ordering of goods and services needed
- Finalise purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Track and examine existing supplier contracts
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Proactively encourage health and safety culture
- Manage people performance
- Work with diverse stakeholders
- Attend weekly operational, production and team leader meetings, providing input
- Inspire team members to achieve optimal results
About you:
- A dynamic people person who enjoys the challenges of manufacturing
- A leader capable of navigating the manufacturing Estimating and Procurement environment
- A people leader who is passionate about team success
- Some experience within Sheetmetal desirable
- Trade/Engineering qualification (or equivalent) preferred
- Technical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and computer skills
- Strong passion for roofing industry and or the Sheetmetal industry
