Tytec Logistics Pty Ltd is Australia's premier earthmover tyre logistics provider. Our focus on innovation and efficiency has shaped significant national growth and, as such, a vacancy for a “Logistics Officer” has become available at our Swanbank Branch, QLD.
The Position requires you to:
- Build strong relationships by providing excellent customer service
- Liaise with customers, management and staff on a daily basis
- Manage transport Planning and Scheduling operations for multiple stock types, to differing locations, to meet customer timeframes
- Assisting with Stock takes, Reporting and Data-entry
- Be willing to conduct the loading, unloading and securing of tyres for transportation
- Help lead, motivate and supervise a team to achieve KPIs including Safety, On Time deliveries and best logistics and warehousing practices
- Oversee safety compliance such as daily equipment checklists, fitness to work, fatigue management and logbook compliance
The ideal candidate will have:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing transport schedules
- Good oral and written communication skills, MS Excel and Word skills.
- Prior experience with Planning and Scheduling freight
- Strong attention to detail whilst meeting the customers requirements
- Finalize Proof of Delivery, Receipting, and Consignment documentation immediately prior to invoice
- Forklift license and experience conducting yard operations
- Be reliable and well presented
