Logistics Site Manager

About your new role…

We have an incredible opportunity to inspire, lead and develop our team in Kewdale in this Logistics Site Manager role. You will have an opportunity to manage Kewdale Logistics end-to-end full goods process including dispatch, internal storage and movements as well as maintaining both internal and external customer service requirements in a safe and efficient manner. This role will be responsible for the day to day running of the logistics areas on site as well as implementation of strategic continuous improvement. 

What you will be doing…

  • Ensuring safe operation of the Kewdale Logistics Site and functions.
  • Drive positive team engagement and performance.
  • Manage and evaluate warehouse activities to achieve operational budgets and control associated indirect costs.
  • Ensure key performance indicators measuring the effectiveness of the logistics operations are achieved.
  • Coordinate and communicate policies and procedures with the wider team.
  • Perform daily and weekly operational planning to optimise labour and manual handling equipment utilisation. 
  • Lead and supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • COR audit and contractor compliance measures.
  • Maintain strong internal and external Customer Service measurables – DIFOT, returns, truck turnaround time, NCRs.
  • Minimise stock losses & maintain compliant inventory standard.
  • Develop process enhancements driving improvements in safety, customer service and costs targets.
  • Manage CCEP, TCCC (The Coca-Cola Company) and governmental governance and regulatory compliance procedures for the site related to operations.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents to verify and resolve.
  • Review training programs within the Supply Chain to ensure adherence to compliance and processes and initiate/recommend changes where required.

Let’s talk about you…

  • Formal qualifications/certifications in Logistics, Leadership or Business Management desirable.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification desirable.
  • Team leadership position in a FMCG Supply Chain or comparable supply chain function desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with individuals and teams.
  • Extended Warehouse Management (SAP or other) experience desirable.
