The Role
As a Logistics Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing all processes relating to Stryker's inbound and outbound logistics, playing a key role in delivering our crucial products to hospitals. You will be a primary contact point for our customer, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
We're open to applicants from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand.
What you'll do
- Oversee financial governance, including reporting, logistics spend tracking and invoice approvals.
- Work with third party logistics carriers to ensure excellent operational service delivery to Stryker's customers.
- Investigate operational errors and anomalies and report on overall effectiveness.
- Champion quality in our logistics team and action CAPA's and NC's.
- Own logistics systems by maintaining reporting and data recording.
What you'll need
- Ability to partner with and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Intermediate standard computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access Database, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
- Outstanding organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Initiative to work independently and maintain program responsibilities.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with negotiation capability.
- Minimum of 2 years operations, global trade or logistics experience.
- An understanding of Import and Export Operations.
- Track record of resolving issues with external third parties directly.
