Job Description
Interested in joining a leading global retailer for your next career move? Our National Supply Chain department is seeking a Transport Specialist to join the Transportation Management team, based in Minchinbury NSW. This position is for a 12-month fixed term contract.
As a Specialist, you will collaborate with the wider Supply Chain department to improve transport systems operations and support the industrialisation of ALDI regions. You will engage key stakeholders to analyse performance of the SAP Transport Management (TM) system and provide support to end users, ensuring the continuous efficiency of Supply Chain operations.
What does the role look like?
- Identify improvement opportunities, collate data insights and recommendations to improve efficiency of the SAP TM system
- Liaise with other domains; the global coordination and deployment teams to coordinate the implementation of new system functions
- Investigate incidents, escalations and conduct system testing
- Oversee development of procedures, SOPs, training materials and conduct training sessions for end users
- Manage the efficient and accurate flow of correspondence across all stakeholders
- Support the Executive Manager with the preparation of presentations and reports
- Support the industrialisation of ALDI regions nationally
Qualifications
What do we need from you?
- Exposure to SAP TM or ERP highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of SAP configurations highly regarded
- Project coordination experience using JIRA and Confluence advantageous
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage various stakeholders
- Able to work flexibly to attend after hours calls and meetings as needed
