Experienced Room Leader:
An Experienced Room Leader is integral to the development of our children and is a full-time position. However, we would consider flexibility for the appropriate applicant.
The right candidate will ideally be experienced and hold a minimum of ACECQA approved Early Childhood Degree or Diploma.
As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of childcare educators to cultivate a nurturing and safe environment for the children in care. As part of our team, it is essential that you understand Adventure Patch’s philosophy and we recommend you visit our website before applying.
Working within the philosophy and direction of the overall organisation, you will have autonomy in developing a program for the children and in managing your team.
You will receive ongoing support and mentoring from the Centre Leader, the Long Day Care Manager and the Educational Leader.
To apply you require:
- Minimum education requirement – ACECQA approved Early Childhood Degree or Diploma.
- Current WWVP Card
- Current full First Aid HLTAID009, 010, 011 and 012 certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Understanding of, and passion for, early childhood development
- 2+ years’ leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team.
- Willingness to embrace the Adventure Patch philosophy
- Understanding of, and commitment to, working within the regulatory framework
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work within our values framework as our Room Coordinators have a leadership role in modelling and coaching these values.
