The role
We are currently looking for customer focused Bus Driver to join the friendly team at Victoria Grange Aged Care / Retirement Community in Vermont South on a Part Time (4 days per week) basis. As the Bus Driveryou will provide a support service that enhances our customer's wellbeing in the Vermont South, Glen Waverley, Kilsyth and surrounding areas.
What you will be doing
- Transporting our residents to entertainment, shopping and recreational venues in the Eastern suburbs
- Driving an 18 seat bus, operating lifts and ensuring the safety of our residents
- Building strong relationships within the organization and residents from Campbell Place, Walmsley Village and Victoria Grange communities
- Administration including maintenance and logbook documentation
- Providing meaningful experiences which enable our residents to thrive
About you
- A warm, compassionate, and reliable team member
- A Light Rigid driving license and ability to operate an 18-seater bus
- Holds a valid First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Previous experience in a bus or tour couch driver role
- Knowledge of Eastern suburbs of Melbourne (preferred)
- Availability to work on a Part Time basis (30 hours), either Monday-Thursday 8am to 4pm or Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4pm
