Overview
HVL have Field Service and Permanent Onsite positions available at multiple Hunter Valley Mines and Power Stations, we will provide inhouse training to ensure you are competent at performing the role. These positions are suited to reliable and qualified mechanical tradesperson looking for a change or wanting to further their career.
About you
You have sound mechanical skills with a can-do attitude and are willing to enter or expand your experience within the mining or power industry. You will be responsible for applying your skills and experience gained in your mechanical trade background, while we will provide you with on-the-job training to ensure you are competent at performing a variety of lubrication services conducted by HVL’s service division.
Your Attributes include:
- You have a motivated outlook and turn up regularly, giving your best effort each day,
- You consider yourself to have a good mechanical aptitude, with a strong mechanical fault-finding ability,
- You have excellent attention to detail with a focus on working safely,
- Excellent punctuality and communication skills,
- You can work both alone and as part of a team,
- Mechanical trade certificate is essential for this role.
About the Role
This role involves performing servicing of lubrication systems on a broad range of mining and heavy industrial equipment and requires you to have excellent attention to detail.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Routine planned maintenance of grease systems,
- Lubrication servicing of rotating and fluid lubricated components,
- Project work including rebuilds and new installations of centralised grease and filtration systems,
- Defect identification, repair, and documentation.
