Job DescriptionYour new opportunity:
In this role you will:- Produce technical drawings, calculations, functional specifications, and reports to assist project managers for the delivery of the projects.
- Liase with internal and external project stakeholders during the design and delivery stages of the project.
- Provide commissioning support when required to the commissioning team for delivering the project successfully and timely manner.
- Work with the sales team to support correct application of product in tenders
- Review supplier and subcontractor submissions/quotations to ensure specification compliance
- Assist with selection of suitable suppliers and subcontractors
- Support development of standardised engineering tools and processes to increase productivity.
- Maintain internal relationships with sales/projects & engineering teams through effective communication
About you:- Appropriate tertiary Electrical Engineering qualifications
- Strong interest and knowledge of diesel generators, power generation, energy storage systems and associated equipment
- Experience in control systems, PLC programming and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret product information bulletins-Sales, Service & Parts.
- Ability to apply appropriate problem-solving techniques to technical, application and other related issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD software and business operating systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
