AddressDowner is currently seeking a LV/HD Mechanic for a TAR 107 shut down on Barrow Island from 8th July to 11th August (4 weeks).
The primary role of the LV/HD Mechanic is to inspect, service and maintain site wide vehicles and mobile equipment fleet within the scope of this contract, in accordance with the standards prescribed in the partnership between Chevron and Downer.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and servicing of all site's light and heavy vehicles, diesel generators, buses, reach stacker, fire trucks, forklift, LV's
- Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns across site fleet
- Complete planned maintenance and servicing tasks
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records on MSD system.
- Maintain stock levels of parts and re-order if necessary.
- Daily checks of all vehicle hoists
- Prioritise daily works.
- Regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring good working order
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Light Vehicle/Heavy
- Hold a current Drivers Licence - C or HR
- White/Blue Card
- Current Working at Heights
- High Risk ticket - LF, WP
- Positive attitude towards safety
- Hold Australian work rights
