About the Role
Located at South Kolan and Bucca, our sorting facilities support the harvesting season from March through to August with sorting, drying, bagging and distribution of macadamia nuts. This opportunity requires a highly motivated person with experience working in a food packing shed or processing facility. This is a contract role with the potential to go permanent.
About the Person
You will be available to work a rotational roster including morning and afternoon shifts. A positive “can do, will do” attitude, good eyesight, hand-to-eye coordination and nimble hands are essential for this role.
Key Selection Criteria
1. Experience working in a food packing shed or processing facility
2. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
3. Experience with the completion of documentation either manual or computer
4. Basic understanding of logistics, in particular receival and dispatch
5. Current Forklift Licence (desriable but not essential)
6. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft word and excel
7. Experience working in a fast - paced environment working to strict timeframes and structured processes
8. Excellent communication skills
