Great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join the growing kitchen team at The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room, Sydney.
Applicants must have strong experience in busy kitchens, be capable with fast paced, high volume service, take pride in food presentation and be effective in a busy team environment.
Key Requirements are:
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
- Hard working and organized, team player with positive attitude
- Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices
- Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
- Job will require approx. 38 hrs per week.
Permanent Full Time role with $70000 - $80000 (plus super)
