The Role: Machine & Guidance Technician
Due to our ongoing growth, we're on the lookout for skilled professionals in auto electrics or related fields to join our Sydney office. As a Machine & Guidance Technician, you'll be diving headfirst into a role that involves installations, commissioning, calibration, and fault finding across various technology product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and support Machine Control and Guidance Technology
- Implement Safety Systems
- Troubleshoot and analyse technical systems and components
- Provide on-site service and support to customer sites
- Pre-sales testing of systems
- Train clients and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of service experience - Heavy/Light vehicle or plant mechanic (desirable).
- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Desirable).
- Ability to lift up to 25kg; training on safe lifting methods will be provided.
- Flexibility to work overtime and respond to late call-outs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric approach.
- Drive and determination to succeed
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel regularly within NSW
- Technical prowess with problem-solving abilities
- Superior customer service focus
- Current driver's license
- Interest or experience in Machine Control technology advantageous
