We specialise in the installation, upgrades, and preventative maintenance of water filtration systems in commercial and government premises.
The Opportunity
We are currently expanding our team. We have a full-time employment opportunity for a Service Technician to join our growing business. For the right fit, there is room to move upwards within a management role in the future.
Working mainly throughout the Sydney metro area, however occasional coastal and rural work requirements.
You will be provided with on job training to learn about our products and the Waterflow Control protocols and systems.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for installing new water filtration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing routine scheduled maintenance.
Your Role
- Working independently at various sites.
- Installing, servicing, and maintaining Water filtration system, UV disinfection systems and fixtures.
- Troubleshooting and repairing water filtration systems and equipment.
- Backflow Prevention & TMV Testing.
- Processing and completing work orders.
- Reading and interpreting schematics to assess and plan future installations.
- Maintaining service truck.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Work, Health, and Safety Act.
Skills Set:
- Well groomed, mature and respectful to all clientele.
- Plumbing trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship
- 2+ years of experience as a plumber.
- Valid plumbing license.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- The ability to work independently.
- Managing overtime on service calls with patience and not rushing the job.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions.
- Strong working knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness is required to navigate around installations.
