Machine Learning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Work on customising LLM models and prompt engineering to improve the model’s responses
• Stay on top of the rapidly evolving state-of-the-art within the Generative AI space
• Customize and fine-tune LLMs using open-source models such as LLama, Falcon etc
• Building agents and tools used for Generative AI applications
• Experiment on large-scale cloud infrastructure (GCP)
• Building process for text embedding with Vector Database (Alloy DB)
• Analyse internal data sources, and generate, collect, and prepare data for LLMs
• Monitoring and building processes for monitoring the model’s performance
• Deploying and maintaining Generative AI applications together with our Cloud Engineers and Software Engineers

Minimal Requirements

• Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience in applying Machine Learning on cloud platforms
• Competent in building Python back-ends with API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Solid understanding of NLP, especially the concepts of Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Fine Tuning and Retrieval Augmentation Generation (RAG)
• Practical experience with ML algorithms, techniques and packages
• Proficiency with the following technologies: Deep Learning Frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow; and LLM frameworks such as LangChain
• Good communication skills and a fast learner

Ideal Candidate

• Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform experience
• Experience in building production-grade ML applications and ML Pipelines
• Proficient in workflow orchestration tools such as Prefect
