About the Centre
We are a 56 place childcare centre in Penrith. The centre prides itself on its high-end renovation and variable resources allowing children and educators to explore and connect with great support.
Your key priorities will be to:
- Planning learning environments, setting up activities, preparing and cleaning away materials and supplies;
- Daily/weekly planning and objectives;
- Evaluate programming;
- Completing the children's daily reports;
- Creating a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment;
- Maintaining a high level of health & safety standards; and
- Food preparation as needed.
The successful applicant will,
- Diploma, or willing to get diploma in early childhood education.
- Current Working with Children Check
- ACECQA approved First Aid Qualification that includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis
- Current understanding of National Quality Framework, Early Childhood Education and Care Laws and Regulations and the new Assessment and Rating Process.
- Ensuring a focused approach to embed exceeding practices as per National Quality Standards.
- Building connections within the community and create a positive reputation in early childhood education and customer service.
- High level of written correspondence and comprehension including high level of documentation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the planning cycle, observation techniques and making essential links to children's learning outcomes.
- A commitment to best practice.
- Demonstrated initiative and decision making abilities
- Ability to time-manage and meet deadlines.
