We are actively seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to take on the responsibility of crafting, building, and deploying Machine Learning models tailored to address business challenges within the Azure Machine Learning and AI platform. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders, actively contributing to the implementation of Machine Learning and AI solutions that elevate our operations and services.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning models into production.
• Collaborate with data stakeholders to understand requirements, transform data science prototypes into scalable solutions as well as delivering Machine Learning or AI-driven solutions.
• Improve and maintain existing Machine Learning/AI systems and services, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Conduct data analysis and feature engineering to improve model accuracy.
• Optimize Machine Learning algorithms for speed and performance.
• Implement best practices for Machine Learning model development and deployment.
• Design and implement AI solutions using Azure AI services (including Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Services and Bot Services).
• Develop scalable and efficient AI models and pipelines leveraging Azure's cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure the security and compliance of AI solutions in line with industry and regulatory standards.
• Monitor, maintain, and update AI models to improve performance and adapt to new data.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship in AI and Machine Learning best practices.
• Stay abreast of the most recent developments in Machine Learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud technology trends, and apply this knowledge to address business challenges effectively.

Essential Criteria:

• Proficiency in Python with proven experience in production projects.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Strong skills in data analysis, visualization, manipulation, and making sense of data in general.
• Proficiency with classical ML tools such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and plotly.
• Knowledge of Random Forest / Gradient Boosting Algorithms.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
• Azure certification (e.g., Azure Data Scientist, Azure AI Engineer) is a plus.
• Experience with Azure ML & Azure AI is highly advantageous.
• Python IDE: PyCharm or VSCode.
• Knowledge of working within Azure Synapse Analytics is highly regarded
