Job Description
We have a great opportunity to join our Chirnside Park Production team as a Machine Operator on our Day Shift. In this role you will have the opportunity to set up, operate and maintain the line to manufacture a range of Ramset products, including our Mechanical and Chemical Anchors such as our Dynabolts and Chemset products. You will use your attention to detail, process driven approach, practical thinking and safety mindset to ensure our products meet specifications and achieve 100% quality compliance.
This is a full-time position on our Day Shift. The ordinary hours of work for this position will be 8 and a half hours per day and you will accrue 1 x RDO per 4-week cycle. The rostered hours will fall between 6am-6pm. \

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain assigned machinery
• Follow procedures to manufacture products to specification
• Commit to a safe work practices and behaviours
• Identify and report safety hazards and actively improve standards
• Raise concerns about safety, quality and/or machine reliability with leadership

About You:
Required

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
• Commitment to Safety, Quality and High-performance culture

• Able to set up, adjust and operate a variety of thread rolling, roll-forming and heading machines
• Forklift licence required for the role, training is available for the right person.

Beneficial

• Certificates III or IV in Manufacturing is beneficial but not required
• Metal stamping and forming (press shop) and machine setting desirable
• Basic QC/QA experience & the ability to read drawings and use measuring equipment would be beneficial
