About the role:
Located in Revesby, and reporting to the Production Supervisor a Machine Operator opportunity has become available, on the Day and Afternoon shifts to join a friendly team manufacturing conveyor belts for the mining and construction industry. Offering supportive team culture, providing development and leading training initiatives, working in a positive work environment that promotes trust and a sense of togetherness across the team.
Working Monday - Friday and offering regular overtime when required in a position that offers full time hours.
The shifts on offer are Day Shift 6am to 2pm $37.50 ph Afternoon Shift 2pm - 10pm $41+ph
These are casual rates and are exclusive of super.
Please note: Training will be conducted on the Day shift
Required skills & attributes:
- Forklift license is mandatory
- Proof of full working rights of Australia
- Knowledge of fabrics, textiles or belt weaving would be advantageous
- Experience operating industrial machinery and hand tools
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexible, enthusiastic and ability to use initiative
- Have a sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S
- Have sound knowledge of Manual Handling Practices
- Good communication and problem- solving skills
- High focus on quality and productivity
- Motivated, hardworking and reliable
