Our client based in Campbellfield specialise in the manufacture and supply of corrosion and chemical resistant coatings and linings for the long-term protection of steel, concrete and timber surfaces in the toughest corrosive environments.
They are at the forefront of innovative corrosion prevention technology, focused upon developing an extensive range of custom solutions to meet the specific needs of different industries.
They are currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Fiberglass Machine Operator to join their ever-growing team. If you have experience as a Machine Operator this may be the role for you.
This role would be for Day Shift 6am - 2pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain various manufacturing machines (tape machines and/or fiberglass) according to established procedures and guidelines set by the company
- Monitor machinery during operation to ensure it functions efficiently
- Conduct regular quality inspections and perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and downtime.
- Basic Hand & Power tools assembly
- Forklift Driving to assist with loading & unloading product
- Calibrate machines and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs to minimize production disruptions.
- Record all production data from the machines
Qualifications and Experience
- Machine Operating with 12 months experience
- Forklift License with 12 months minimum experience - advantageous
- If you have experience working with fibreglass it would be advantageous
- Victorian Drivers License
- Sound knowledge of warehouse production activities
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral
- Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines
