SalaryOur well established client based in Clayton requires Machine Operators for immediate commencement.
The role:
- Setup, operate and monitor manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure safety and quality requirements are achieved
- Setup and operate injection moulding machines
- Undertake housekeeping activities to ensure the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Undertake routine maintenance activities and troubleshooting
- Prepare tooling such as mandrels and cutters through the use of hand tools and bench-top equipment
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Proactive and energetic individual who is capable of managing a range of competing priorities in a production environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Basic computer knowledge and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to set manufacturing equipment in accordance with low tolerance parameters
- Certificate III Process Manufacturing highly desirable
