AddressPlascorp, one of Australia's leading privately-owned national manufacturers and distributors of Industrial Ducting, Mine Ventilation, PVC Pipe and Steel reinforcing solutions is looking for a Machine Operator to join our Altona North manufacturing facility.
Our manufacturing team runs 24 hours, Monday to Friday working 3 different shifts (Day: 7am - 3pm, Afternoon: 3pm to 11pm and Night: 11pm to 7am) you will be responsible for manufacturing PVC in accordance with production schedules.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safety, quality and environmental procedures are incorporated into daily operations
- Operating machinery
- Meeting daily production expectations as per the production plan
- Conducting pre-start checks on all equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met
Hours: Day shift - 7.00am – 3.00pm
(flexibility to shift changes if required)
Multiple roles available in Threading and Slotting operations
Skills and experience required:
- Previous machine operation experience
- Current forklift licence
- Understanding of OH&S requirements, correct manual handling methods and reporting
