Machine Operator - Night Shift

We are looking for multiple Machine Operators to be a part of our new Night Shift team based at Clayton South.  As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the production jobs across numerous systems in varying areas are carried out to the highest level of quality and efficiency. 

We are looking for people with the experience in any of the following areas / machines: 

• PROPAC
• Flow Operator
• Tempering & Enrobing
• Carton Operator
• Case Packer Operator

Your responsibilities will include: 

• The reliable operation and adjustment of allocated equipment
• Competent in changeover and reset of equipment within appropriate time
• Cleaning of machinery
• Fault diagnosis and communication to maintenance and engineering trade lines and equipment issues
• Performing a range of tasks involving the assembly and disassembly of components in packing process
• Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures and standard equipment and process settings. 

You will have 3-5 years of Machine Operator experience, preferably within the food manufacturing industry. 

You will have:

• Technical knowledge of packaging machine operation, including equipment care, hygiene, and maintenance 
• Ability to read and follow recipes and standard processes
• Ability to adjust and optimize packaging equipment performance 
• Ability manage multiple processes running concurrently and follow standard procedures
• Sound interpersonal and numeracy skills (reading, writing and communication skills)
• Ability to use electrical data entry devices
• Ability to maintain work area to quality standards
