Due to growth, there is now a need to increase the team to cope with growing demands. We now have a vacancy for multiple Machine Operators with solid experience to work in a well-structured mild steel precision components workshop based out of Bayswater.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various machines including manual lathes, turning, and mills.
- Program CNC machinery with FAUNC controller experience
- adhere to precise job card requirements.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational status, reporting any issues.
- Comply with all operational guidelines and company policies to ensure quality and safety.
The ideal candidate with possess:
- Prior experience as machine operator with FANUC Controller Experience
- Ability to interpret blueprints, product specifications and setup instructions
- Ability to work efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work with computer-aided manufacturing software
- Experience operating CNC machines such as lathes, grinders, lasers and mills
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool holders and other machine accessories
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- High regard for safe work practices
- Experience in Mild/Galvanized Steel
- Current Australian working rights
About You:
- Machine Operation experience
- Able and willing to work in manufacturing environment and conditions (e.g. dust, noise, heat etc).
- Work to a shift roster, and varied hours based on operational requirements
- Ideally have some form of trade qualification, Degree or Cert 4 qualification or have Extruder machine operator experience.
- Undertake additional duties as required and during periods of leave for other staff
- Ability to operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Perform problem solving and fault-finding tasks to identify and resolve machine issues/breakdowns
- Preferred experience within a precision steel components manufacturing environment.
PayRates:
Commence on Day shift for 2 weeks training then ongoing Arvo Shift hours
- Afternoon Shift $48.54 + Super + Regular Overtime
- Arvo shift Monday - Thursday 12.00pm - 8.30pm Friday 10am - 4pm
