Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sheet Metal Machine Operator with Lighter Gauge Materials to join our team.
Your Expertise:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual with the following qualifications and experience
- Experience with sheetmetal such as colourbond
- Flashing knowledge (advantageous)
- Rollforming Knowledge (advantageous)
- Valid Forklift Licence (advantageous)
- Safe sheet handling and lifting techniques
- Strong initiative and problem solving skills
- Proficient in using hand tools effectively
- Ability to interpret shop drawings (advantageous)
- Great teamwork and communication skills in a tight-knit work environment
Tasks & responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Operation of Apron Folders, Roll Forming Equipment, Guillotine and/or Slitting Machines
- Ensure data is entered via our QMS system
- Uphold and enhance housekeeping standards
- Exhibit a clear understanding of OH+S requirements and standards
- Strictly follow company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely job completion
- Manage material stock levels effectively
