We have a number of full-time opportunities on day shift for motivated and reliable candidates throughout our Yarram sawmill operations for Machine & Forklift Operators.
These multi-skilled positions are based on an attractive shift structure that suits a fantastic work/life balance, providing the security of fulltime work in a progressive and stable organisation. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn both forklift & machine operations through these multi-skilled roles. However it is not mandatory to learn both tasks if it does not suit the candidates licensing or interest.
Our shift structures are:
Day shift – Operating 4 shifts per week on a 38-hour week, between Monday to Friday.
These roles are vast and varied with the positions focussed on working as part of a high achieving team. The successful applicants will follow efficient and effective work practices to meet production targets, whilst ensuring all aspects of Quality and Health & Safety are followed.
Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Machine operation
- Machine monitoring and fault finding
- Manual handling
- General labour
- Mobile plant operation on a rotational basis
The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

- Hold a current forklift license (preferred but not mandatory)
