We are looking for an experienced Machinist/Machine Technician to join our Factory team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will be responsible for machine maintenance, servicing, repairs and being a part of our production processes. You’ll be working on large machinery as well as smaller machines through-out our production line. These include CNC processing centres, double ended tenoners (DET), moulding machines, panel saws and automatic storage cells. Problem solving with our production team to decrease our downtime will be key to your success. Training on the operation of our machines will be provided.
This is a new role, based at our production factory in Lionsgate Business Park, Elizabeth South. This is a full-time salaried position with flexible hours and great work-life balance.
Value you will bring to the role:- In depth knowledge of and experience in SCM machine operation, maintenance and repairs.
- Experienced forklift driver capable of driving 3T/5T forklifts (preferred)
- Safety conscious, leading by example
- Good level of written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong organisational skills to ensure projects run smoothly and within the desired time frames.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
