Through seamless collection partnerships, recycling technology and smart manufacturing, Jeffries produces a range of world leading compost, soil and mulch products.
We service everyone from vineyard growers, fresh food farmers, major construction companies and municipal organisations to landscape gardeners… even backyard green thumbs.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Daily operation and monitoring of our Pelletiser & Biochar plants.
- Ensuring that our products are being produced to the highest quality standards.
- Daily inspection of machinery and reporting any faults to maintenance team.
- Assisting the maintenance team with scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Loading trucks and completion of necessary paperwork.
- Daily clean up of pelletiser shed and Biochar shed and surrounding areas.
- Setting up machinery for operation and adjusting settings to maintain process.

- Display a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work at optimal efficiency.
- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot plant operation.
- High level of attention to detail, excellent initiative, enthusiasm and understanding working in a challenging manufacturing environment.
- Strong adherence to and understanding of WH&S in the workplace.
- Experience operating machines.
- Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in high pressure situations and meet deadlines
Skills and experience
- Forklift ticket.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to operating plant through a HMI.

This role may also involve weekend and public holiday work. Access to transportation is required as work may be at either one of our facilities – Wingfield or Buckland Park.
