Machine Tool Fitter

RCR Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced Machine Tool Fitter to join our team located at the Welshpool Workshop taking responsibility for maintaining, repairing and overhauling Workshop equipment and machinery in a safe, efficient and competent manner.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining all Workshop mechanical equipment
• Carry out repairs and overhauls to Lathes, Borers and Mills and other Workshop equipment
• Planning proper sequencing of tasks to complete the assignment
• Assembling equipment
• Bearing fitment
• Repairs to Facility as required
• Overseeing, guiding and assisting other Trades

Working hours would be Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm. Overtime is limited and would only be offered in a breakdown situation.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• To live locally in the Perth metro area
• An Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• A current Driver’s licence
• A solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine reliable nature
• To be physically fit to handle heavy manual work
• To be able to work well within a diverse and multi-skilled team environment
• High Risk Work Licences (EWP, CS & Rigging) - preferred
