ABOUT THE ROLE
To operate a variety of machinery either with RTO license or under the Mort & Co Verification of Competency Program. To ensure operations are completed safely and in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including company policies and procedures. This key role will be responsible for:
- Carrying out machinery operations including routine maintenance pre-starts per OEM procedures
- Ensuring that the health and welfare of livestock is given first priority
- Ensuring machinery is kept in clean and safe working order
- Carrying out duties in a manner that prioritises own health and safety and that of others
- Maintaining positive and regular communicating with direct supervisor including relevant information regarding Faults with Machinery.
ABOUT YOU
- Heavy equipment operations experience is mandatory/desirable.
- You are focused on working safely
- You are physically fit
- Good organisation and communication skills including ability to use own initiative
- On the job training will be provided to successful applicants with a can-do will-do attitude
