About the Role
Based in Carrum Downs VIC 3201, you will be working on a variety of CNC machines including CNC laser cutting machine, CNC router and CNC plasma cutting systems.
This role would be suited to an experienced CNC machinist with an engineering or mechanical trade background who is ready to move to the next step in their career.
Your Duties:
- On-site visits to clients for repairs, routine servicing and installations of our machinery.
- Training customers on software and machinery.
- On-site visits for scheduled services.
- Write up service reports listing any problems or feedback for the customer.
- Liaise with your manager for spare part orders.
- Provide remote assistance via phone support and remote desktop for customers.
- Restore new or second hand equipment and prepare it for sale.
- Assemble display machinery for our head office showroom.
- Interacting with technical teams (both internal and external) on technical details such as: factory layouts, machine footprints, customised solutions and tooling etc.
- Travel throughout Australia or overseas as required.
Your Skills & Experience
- CNC machinist/engineering trade background
- Excellent communication skills
- Can do attitude
- Experience on servicing CNC machines will be highly valued but is not a must.
- CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting or CNC router experience is desirable but not a must
