Australian owned Hallam Vic company, renowned for steel conveyor manufacturing and food industry maintenance service, is looking for an experienced Machinist / Toolmaker  to work in our modernised factory.

Duties:

• Includes manufacturer of shafts and conveyor components.
• General jobbing on manual Universal Mills and Lathes.
• Perform inspections of finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Running CNC Lathe and Mill.
• Assist to resolve machining issues to minimise production downtime.

Qualities we are looking for:

• Experience in building fixtures & jigs (toolmaker) advantageous
• CNC experience not necessary but advantageous (training will be provided)
• Maintenance background advantageous 
• Do onsite work occasionally
• Have good communication skills
• Have a “can do attitude”
• Be reliable and adaptable
• Have pride in your work
• Forklift licence advantageous
• Everyone has holidays at Christmas!
