Our Machinists have the opportunity to machine products from start to finish, focusing on what we do best - pins, bushes, and other OEM wear parts.
The Position:

Rare in the South West region, at Geographe our Machinists have the opportunity to machine products from start to finish, focusing on what we do best - pins, bushes, and other OEM wear parts for machinery within the mining and earthmoving industry.
To be successful in this role, you have proven skills in:

• Machining components to fine tolerances in an efficient timeframe
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Assist with the mentoring and development of Apprentices
• To inspect all work before passing to the next operation
• To assist all Teams in the continual improvement of production efficiency and minimising production lead times, whilst maintaining and improving quality standards
• To maintain and care for all machines, tooling and equipment used

The Requirements:
1. Trade Certificate in Machining
2. Proven experience operating CNC lathes and mills
3. Experience with Okuma and Mazak machines advantageous
4. Willing to collaborate as part of a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive team
5. Willing to learn, develop, and grow within the world of automation
