Job description

Aldebaran Contracting is a civil contracting company with experience as a provider of civil construction services to the NT Government, Local Governments and the private sector throughout the Northern Territory.

We are looking to hire a Maintenance Administrator to work closely with our Transport and Logistics Manager and support the Maintenance Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to vehicle and fleet maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review and verify dockets for accuracy.

2. Organise permits for road trains and various projects.

3. Assist with vehicle registrations.

4. Schedule road trains.

5. Manage road train bookings.

6. Support the Maintenance Officer with the maintenance platform.

7. Schedule fleet servicing.

8. Order parts for fleet.

9. Communicate with suppliers and sub-contractors via phone and email.

10. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

11. Demonstrate strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, and time management.

12. Utilise Microsoft Office and other computer systems effectively.

13. Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

14. Maintain attention to detail and accuracy.

15. Provide administrative assistance as required.

16. Possess basic knowledge of Work Health and Safety.

17. Hold or be able to acquire a Construction Industry White Card.

18. Hold a valid driver’s license.
