The company is expanding to bring to market a new medical device technology and integrate this production within our cleanrooms in Sydney, Australia.
As an accredited company to ISO 13485, there is a continual development investing into new technologies that will manufacture medical devices. This is a role where the right person will enjoy being able to work across a range of evolving technologies both locally and from Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of complex machinery and equipment,
- Calibrate instruments and tools to ensure accurate measurements and consistent performance,
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify and address equipment issues promptly,
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs,
- Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance procedures,
- Assist in other duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a relevant field preferred,
- Proven 2-3 years' experience in fault finding, service and repair of electro-mechanical machines, equipment, and devices,
- Familiarity with process control principles, including pneumatic systems and industrial electronics,
- Proficiency in using calibration tools and software, electronics,
- Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail for writing certificates and reports that are issued to customers,
- Excellent problem-solving skills,
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to standard operating procedures,
- Willingness to travel to customers sites to carry out service, calibrations, installations & repairs of Sabres range of Sealing and packaging systems. (Some interstate travel maybe required periodically).
- Ability to work both with a team and independently,
- Ideally with medical device/pharmaceutical industry experience.
