Spotless/Downer holds four Facilities Maintenance and Management Services with the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF).
The purpose of the Maintenance Carpenter position is to complete work which requires the application of relevant trade skills in a manner consistent with the high standards expected by our customers. The Technician is further responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues, customers, and the public.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and risk management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of current industry standards relevant to trades services operations.
- Experience/knowledge working in a Facilities Maintenance environment.
- Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area required.
- Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests required.
- Experience using hand or power equipment required.
- Trade certification or licence in relevant field.
- Valid, unrestricted drivers' licence.
- Current first aid certificate preferred.
- Site Safe maintenance passport preferred.
